This hacienda was built by the Count de Regla, Don Pedro Romero de Terreros in 1717 and completed in 1807. It was the first hacienda in the region to process silver and the principal precious metal-producing hacienda in the Colony. The hacienda has had seven owners. Today it is tourist attraction and functions as hotel and restaurant.

In the region of Santa María Regla, 4 km northeast of Huasca de Ocampo. 40 km from the city of Pachuca.
