This hacienda was built in 1750 by Pedro Arizmendi Gogorrón, who made his fortune in mines in San Luis Potosí. It was bequeathed several times and grew to cover 35 thousand hectares. It became a successful agricultural hacienda, since it had several wells. At the end of the 18th century the hacienda changed to the textile and mescal businesses, and various factories were built inside it. Today the hacienda has been rebuilt by its present owners, who have created a Spanish-style hacienda. It was used as a location for the movie Zorro. The hacienda has a hotel, restaurant and pools.

Located before reaching Villa de Reyes 46 km from San Luis Potosí.
